Modality Effects in Free Recall: A Retrieved-Context Account

Data and code for Pazdera & Kahana (2022). A preprint of this paper has been made available at https://doi.org/10.31234/osf.io/cxewq, and all code, data, and supplemental materials can also be found on the Open Science Framework at https://osf.io/4rz7k/.

The following is an overview of the data and code included herein:

  • /Analysis/: Python and R code used for generating figures, organizing data for analysis, and running statistical tests.
  • /Data/: JSON, text, and CSV files containing raw and processed versions of the data from all (included and excluded) participants.
  • /Experiment/: The codebase for the jsPsych experiment itself, as conducted on MTurk via psiTurk. Includes audio recordings of all words.
  • /Extras/: Supplemental code not used in the original paper.
  • /Modeling/: The Python/Cython code for the CMR2 model, particle swarm optimization, and all simulations.
  • /Processing/: The Python code comprising the data processing pipeline that automatically scored and formatted all data prior to analysis.
