Autoescapes common HTML characters from a block of highlighted text such as <
, >
, and &
. Particularly useful for rendering terminal output and others that contain special characters that interfere with being wrapped in HTML tags within Markdown.
The graphic below shows the steps to enable and configure the plugin. By default there are no hotkeys preconfigured. Users must manually add their desired shortcut to invoke Autoescaper.
Below is an example of how to use the plugin. Simply highlight the text you want to autoescape, and execute the shortkey you created in the above walkthrough.
