Getting Started
In order to start your journey with the mod, you must first travel to The Nether and collect Blazeblooms: dark red flowers that can be found growing on Netherrack and Nylium near lava. Once obtained, these can be crafted with a book to get the Alchemancer's Journal, or brewed in a Brewing Stand with Water Bottles to obtain Alchemical Extract, an ingredient used in the creation of the Alchemancy Forge alongside Ender Pearls and logs. Once crafted, the forge must be placed down with a Block of Emerald 2 blocks above it. Right-clicking the forge will then convert the Emerald Block into an Alchemancy Catalyst.
Transmutation is the process of using a single item with the Alchemancy Forge to turn it into a different item. To do so, you must place your item on the Alchemancy Forge, and then right-clicking the Alchemancy Catalyst, or by powering it with a Redstone signal, to transmute your item.
Infusion is the process of combining a set of items into a single other item. To do so, one must first obtain Infusion Pedestals by transmuting an Alchemancy Forge. Infusion Pedestals can then be placed around the forge, each one being capable of holding a single stack of any item. When an item is placed on the forge and the Alchemancy Catalyst is used, a single item for each pedestal will be consumed if possible, infusing them into the center item by granting them a set of properties or turning it into a different item.
Items are infused in a clockwise order starting from the front-facing side of the forge, taking this into account will allow you to have more control over how certain items and properties interact within the forge.
Properties are attributes given to an item by infusing any other item into it with the Alchemancy Forge. Items can normally only have up to 4 properties at a time, but the limit varies for a select few items and can be increased with the Limit-Break property. Certain cosmetic properties, such as Tinted and Seethrough, do not count towards this limit. Only one of each property can be infused onto an item at a time.
During the Infusion process, certain properties may interact with each other, whether by canceling them out or creating a new one entirely. A list of every property interaction can be found here.
Properties can be removed from an item by infusing it with a Lead Ingot.
