Building from sources:

$ export PYTHON_INCLUDE_DIR=$(python -c "

$ export PYTHON_LIB_DIR=$(python -c "

print(sysconfig.get_config_var('LIBDIR'))

# need to change on your version
$ export PYTHON_LIBRARY=${PYTHON_LIB_DIR}/libpython2.7.dylib
$ cmake -H. -B_builds -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=_install \
-DPYTHON_INCLUDE_DIR=${PYTHON_INCLUDE_DIR} -DPYTHON_LIBRARY=${PYTHON_LIBRARY}
$ cmake --build _builds --target install

Example of use:

$ cd _install/bin
$ python
