Additions

Describe new functionality added by your code, e.g.

  • Patched animals, apparel, drugs, plants, weapons and scenario added by Rimspire Gitz: Loonclans.
  • Squig bodydef patched to cover parts with natural armor.
  • Squig’s thingdefs patched for bodyshape, melee stats, melee tools, and armor durability.
  • Squig leather resource patched to be inline with leathers present in CE core patches.
  • Apparel and weapons generally perform worse when compared to medieval equipment found in base game and Medieval Overhaul.
  • Bulk and WornBulk stats reflect diminutive size of Grot xenotypes and their Bulk capacity. Loadbearing gear still needed for heaviest apparel when used by Grots.
  • Shields patched to utilize Combat Extended shield thingclass and modextension.
  • Deffcap Brew and Madcap Mead patched to add negative suppressibility offsets according to descriptions of drug effects.
  • Healing Shrooms patched to spawn herbal medicine filth when used to stabilize.
  • Scenario set to spawn with Moonclan Bow patched to spawn with 45 arrows.

Reasoning

Why did you choose to implement things this way, e.g.

  • Grots are described as diminutive and like Warhammer Fantasy Goblins must utilize cunning and overwhelming numbers in order to have success in combat.
  • The original mod encourages this playstyle by allowing the player to have a near constant surplus of Grot pawns through the use of the Loonshrine’s code as Grot pawns can be produced in shorter time frames than baseliners while using only 75 squig meat.
  • This patch was designed to emulate those lore implications.
  • Equipment is worse than what would be made by more “civilized” factions and protection values are low to incentivize players to employ more cunningly brutal tactics than meeting opposing raids in the field.
