What is this?

Editor Pro Max turns Claude Code into a professional video editor. Instead of dragging clips on a timeline, you describe what you want in natural language and Claude writes the code. The project uses Remotion — a React framework that renders videos programmatically.

No GUI to learn. No export settings to configure. No API keys needed. Everything runs locally on your machine.

Quick Start

Option 1: Install from npm (recommended for Cowork)

npm install -g @figstranmedia/editor-pro-max-skill
@figstranmedia/editor-pro-max-skill create my-video
cd my-video
npm run dev

Option 2: Clone from GitHub (for development)

git clone https://github.com/Figstranmedia/editor-pro-max-Skill.git
cd editor-pro-max-Skill
npm install
npm run dev

Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser to preview and render videos.

Use with Claude Cowork

Editor Pro Max is a Claude Cowork skill that scaffolds Remotion projects automatically.

In Cowork, simply ask:

"Create a video for TikTok announcing a new feature"
"Edit my video and add captions"  
"Make 3 variations for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube"

Cowork will:

1. ✅ Scaffold a Remotion project in a folder you choose
2. ✅ Generate React/Remotion code for your videos
3. You run npm run dev to preview in browser
4. You run npx remotion render to export MP4

How It Works

Path A: Create from scratch

1. Tell Claude what video you want
2. Claude creates a composition using the component library
3. Preview with npm run dev (opens Remotion Studio)
4. Render with npx remotion render <id> out/video.mp4

Path B: Edit existing video

1. Place your video in public/assets/video.mp4
2. Claude runs the pipeline:
   • npx tsx scripts/analyze-video.ts — extracts metadata
   • npx tsx scripts/extract-audio.ts — extracts audio for transcription
   • npx tsx scripts/transcribe.ts — Whisper AI generates word-level captions
   • npx tsx scripts/detect-silence.ts — finds dead air to cut

Ruta A: Crear desde cero
