About The Pull Request
Gives all ''combat ogres'' a speed reduction.
Removes the cook ogres speed debuff.
Knocks some ogre weapon skills down. Effectively reducing their parry chances vs skilled opponents.
Testing Evidence
Compiles. Numbers stuff.
Why It's Good For The Game
I hate ogres. I really do. They encourage 0 RP murder everything gameplay and roughly 70% of ogre incounters I have had have been rather negative. My openly admitted bias aside.
They have been overdue for some kinda nerf. But I still think they should remain the forces of nature gragger made them to be. So. We shall go for ''slow forces of nature'' Excluding the cook. Since I love the ogre cooks I encounter!
Ogre should be dumb. Ogre should not have the sort of weapon training a professionally trained knight has. They still retain expert in their fields of weapons they will however be slightly weaker to daggers and polearms now on avg.
I've seen speed statpack ogres and they scare me ;-;
This will REALLY hurt struggler statpack ogres. But it is what it is. Struggle ogre will struggle now.
