Despite facing numerous challenges, India has emerged as one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
The economic growth of our country has been remarkable. If we consider the other countries in South East Asia, we are way ahead of them. Policies like liberalisation fueled India's growth and saved us from economic crisis. However, there is still a lot of work to be done. We are still very far from being a developed country. Also still there are many people below the poverty line who don't have access to food or proper shelter. Some states have done remarkably well in this area and states which are lagging behind could learn from them.
