fix(redesign): keep starter chips to one line by undating their labels#578
Merged
Conversation
The first starter chip embedded the dated context title, wrapping it to two lines while its siblings held one — and the composer's context chip directly below already names the dated context. Chip labels now strip a trailing date; the full title stays in the prompt the chip sends. Evidence: docs/design/ui-contract/20260717-chip-label-reduction/ (4 before/after pairs, schema-valid manifest; contracts green both sides) Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Summary
Design-reduction fix from the nitpick backlog: the first starter chip embedded the dated context title ("Summarize Daily Brief - 2026-07-17"), wrapping to two lines while its siblings held one. The composer's context chip directly below already carries the dated title, so chip labels now strip a trailing date — the full title stays in the prompt the chip actually sends.
Before/after evidence (the deliverable):
docs/design/ui-contract/20260717-chip-label-reduction/— 4 pairs (desktop/mobile × dark/light), schema-valid manifest.Verification
