Repository Introduction

Ibis is an open-source data framework library that allows users to use the same set of data frame operation APIs to manipulate various mainstream data computation frameworks, making it easier and more consistent for users to build their own data analysis and processing processes.
Core Features:

  1. Multi engine support and flexibility: Ibis is compatible with nearly 20 backends, ensuring flexibility and wide applicability, including mainstream relational databases, big data platforms, and data warehouses.
  2. Unified API for cross engine compatibility: With powerful API support and rich backend compatibility, Ibis is not limited to local environments, but also compatible with multiple big data platforms, ensuring that it can easily handle most data analysis tasks in various scenarios.
  3. Mixed programming of Python and SQL: Ibis can combine the flexibility of Python with the performance advantages of SQL, balancing the efficient querying and computing capabilities of SQL while using Python for data operations.

Architecture Design:

This project offers pre-configured Ibis Data analysis framework images with Ibis and its runtime environment pre-installed, along with deployment templates. Follow the guide to enjoy an "out-of-the-box" experience.

System Requirements:

  • CPU: 4GHz or higher
  • RAM: 8GB or more
  • Disk: At least 60GB

Prerequisites

Register a Huawei account and activate Huawei Cloud
