ID.me Demo Extension Setup

Load Extension

• Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
• Enable Developer mode by clicking the toggle switch in the top right corner.
• Click the Load unpacked button and select the demo-extension directory.

Test Extension

• Request access to the Demo Extension Reference spreadsheet
• Select a site to navigate to and begin to test the extension.
• Click the extension’s icon in the toolbar to open the popup.
• Click Enable Extension
• Hover over and click the element where you would like to add the button.
• You will be prompted to input your a Demo Link
• Click OK and the button will appear above or below your selected element
