🧪 I like to build things for researchers using machine learning and Python. I have built ML.Recipes for AI4Science, Data-Science-Gui.de for DS learners, and PythonDeadlin.es for Python conference submissions. I semi-regularly write articles for my website and my weekly-ish non-hype AI newsletter. Sometimes, I make videos on YouTube and Tiktok, but they're fairly irregular.
🌦 Formally, I'm a scientist for machine learning, improving global weather forecasts with AI at the ECMWF/@ECMWF, a 2022 fellow of the Software Sustainability Institute for AI4Science, and a Co-chair of the Working Group Modelling for the ITU Global Initiative on Resilience to Natural Hazards through AI Solutions.

- And since we do eventually all want to get a job, I made a small course about crafting a top-tier CV or Resumé for data science jobs.
- I wanted to teach artists about generative AI and its ethical implications.
- Then chatGPT happened, and I wanted to give content creators a deeper understanding of chatGPT and how to use it.
