Prerequisites

• Make sure to close all background running processes of Cursor before proceeding
• Have Python installed on your system

Steps

1. Run the provided Python script path_finder.py to locate the storage.json file path
2. In the storage.json file, modify the following fields:
   • Machine ID
   • macMachineId
   • devDeviceId
3. Save the changes to storage.json
4. Restart Cursor application
5. The changes should now be applied

Your Cursor should now be ready to use with the updated configuration
