Have you ever looked at your WiFi Pineapple (Enterprise) and thought to yourself, "This could use more Hanukkah?"
Well...
The above image is printed with mostly "Silk Gold" PLA filament.
It is a little bit of a pain to assemble.
- Print 9x of the tips.
- Cut 8x of some RG316 coaxial cable and crimp one end with SMA connectors (9 may not fit through the stem).
- Print the stem. It would not fit on my Prusa MK3, so I split it right down the middle and glued them together.
- Feed all the wires through to the bottom. The middle one has no connection.
- Glue the tips.
- Feed the wires through to the base and the optional base_connectors parts.
- Crimp each end secure to base_connectors.
Alternatively:
The base_connectors's hole should be large enough to fit 2x of the crimped SMA ends. Although tough, it should be possible to fully detach the part after crimping, if you have better ideas to attach the base directly to something else.
The base mounting holes are sized for M4 screws.
I had an idea and I built this thing for the WiFi Pineapple, but I do not own one... anyways
Chag Sameach!
