The map hasn't been tested yet. Would probably wait for reviews by map testers/managers before deciding on approval.

What minetest version did you save it with? I wasn't able to load it.

It is saved with 5.10.0, worked on all my testmaps

The old BioSoheres PR #310 is around 2 years old. It recently got some of its issues fixed so I try to target the older map PRs first. New map PRs should also get reviewed but it seems the map managers are busy recently and there's not a lot of map testers. I'll be more free in May.

Looking at the screenshot, I'm not sure about this map. seems too plain. Probably we will have no game play diversity as I think the game play will be too close to "Plain Battle"

I made it to mainly look like in a lab's experimenting room. Please tell me any features/tips that would help bring map to next level! thanks!

The map is too plain, like "Plain Battle" which we already have. But it could be a base for a good map(IMO). Some ideas:

  • Add ore rooms for each team and populate them with ores.
  • Make the left and right walls of each base out of unbreakable obsidian glass. This will make sneaking into the bases hard. Keep the walls behind the flags as is. People could hide there to attack.
  • Create a network of underground tunnels with 2 entries on each side(sum 4 entries). This could make sneaking in easier.
  • You could get inspiration from my Plain Glass map and add a network of tunnels separate of the map main body which connect bases together.
  • Do not add tunnel entries bare. Build some building around them.
  • Fill the empty space with some artifacts such as buildings, hills or trees or even fountains.
