Nations

Nations function similar to alliances. Towns can join and leave nations, but can not be apart of multiple nations at the same time.

A nation is formed automatically when a town or alliance reaches the required total town levels (set in config.yml). So for example, if you set the requirement to 3, then any hamlet will automatically create a nation when upgraded to a village. Alternatively, if a settlement and a hamlet form an alliance, then a nation will be created with the hamlet as the capitol.

Nations also get chunk protections. These chunk claims are given when the nation is formed. Each town in the nation gets all the chunks in the town claimed. If there is left over power, then it will attempt to make a line of chunk claims between the towns in the nation. The number of chunks a nation can claim is proportional (set in config.yml) to the nation's power. Manually claiming chunks must be done adjacent to existing claims. By default each manual chunk claim requires 8 redstone. Chunk claims can have any effect a town could have as defined in config.yml

Chunks can be unclaimed by either TNT or standing in them for a time (defined in config.yml). When a chunk is unclaimed, it will broadcast the chunk co-ordinates in a warning message to all nation members as well as on discord.

Nations also allow you to set an icon and written book. Using the menu, any owner of the capitol town can change the icon or book to the item they are holding with a command or through the menu.
