@daniel-kitzmann daniel-kitzmann released this 18 May 12:22

This is the new version 4.0 of FastChem. It removes the requirement of quad-precision calculations at low temperatures and can run on platforms that only support double precision without restrictions. This release also adds new elements with their associated gas-phase species and condensates.

@daniel-kitzmann daniel-kitzmann released this 05 Apr 12:45

The behaviour of condensation calculations with phase violation has been changed. Now, before stopping the calculation and returning a phase rule violation flag, FastChem will re-calculate the gas phase and provide the corresponding number densities of species still left in the gas phase. However, note that those species will not sum up to the correct input pressure!

@daniel-kitzmann daniel-kitzmann released this 04 Sep 16:43

This new version, called FastChem Cond, adds equilibrium condensation and the rainout approximation to FastChem. Additionally, data for almost 300 solid and liquid condensate species has been added.
