Nynxz Blog

This is my 'blog site'. The stack is probably considered overkill for whats supposed to be a static blog, but I wanted something I could tinker with!

Built with Laravel.

Uses

  • Redis
  • MySQL
  • Tailwind CSS

The idea behind this - Have this running on a cheap VPS, using Docker Compose Have a webhook on a repo containing your blog posts, on changes, pull on the VPS and sync the posts.

I have tried not use Javascript, as it's just not required here.

Artisan Commands

  • php artisan sync

    • Syncs ./blog-posts to the database
  • single file that defines fields that will be used in metadata (front matter) (taxonomy)

  • during sync - metadata proccessed

    • checks first line for --- , +++ , {
