Security Policy

Supported Versions

Security reports should target the latest GitHub Release and the current main branch.

Reporting a Vulnerability

Please report security issues privately to the repository owner instead of opening a public issue.

If private contact is not available, open a minimal public issue that says a security report is needed, without including exploit details.

Scope

Relevant security concerns include:

  • Unsafe handling of local files or paths.
  • Unexpected network access.
  • Release package integrity problems.
  • OCR or hotkey behavior that captures more data than intended.

Avalon Atlas is an unofficial community tool. It does not require Albion Online account credentials, and OCR processing is local to the user's machine.
