Stellar RevenueShare Platform (Revora)

Tokenized Startup Revenue Distribution Infrastructure on Stellar.

Overview

Revora is a tokenized revenue-sharing infrastructure built on the Stellar blockchain. It enables startups to:

  • Issue revenue-share tokens on Stellar
  • Raise capital in USDC
  • Report recurring revenue
  • Automatically distribute a percentage of revenue to token holders in USDC

All payouts are transparent and verifiable on-chain, combining:

  • Stellar asset issuance
  • Soroban smart contracts
  • Backend orchestration and data storage
  • Web frontends for startups and investors

Problem

Early-stage startups and investors face structural challenges:

  • Equity fundraising is legally complex and expensive
  • Crowdfunding rarely includes automated revenue participation
  • Payouts to investors are manual and opaque
  • Micro-investments are operationally inefficient
  • There is no standard, transparent infrastructure for revenue-sharing

Investors also face:

  • Limited access to early-stage opportunities
  • No automated dividend / revenue distribution
  • Lack of transparent payout reporting

Solution

Revora provides a programmable revenue participation layer on Stellar:

  • Startups issue revenue-share tokens
  • Investors buy tokens using USDC
  • Startups submit monthly revenue reports
  • The system computes each holder’s share and distributes USDC on-chain
  • All distributions are transparent and auditable through Stellar

High-Level Architecture

Key components:

  • Startup Dashboard: Used by startups to configure offerings, report revenue, and view payout history.
  • Investor Portal: Used by investors to discover offerings, buy tokens, and view distributions.
  • Offering / Investment Services: Backend services that coordinate token issuance, investments, and state.
  • Revenue Distribution Engine: Calculates and issues proportional USDC payouts.
  • Soroban Smart Contracts: Enforce core logic around tokenized revenue-share and distribution rules.
  • Stellar Network & Horizon: Settlement layer and data source for on-chain events.
  • PostgreSQL Database: Stores off-chain state, offering metadata, and reporting.
  • Notification Service: Sends emails / webhooks to startups and investors about payouts and events.

Conceptual flow:

  • Startup defines a revenue-share offering and issues a token on Stellar.
  • Investors purchase tokens using USDC via the investor portal.
  • Each month, the startup reports revenue through the dashboard.
  • The backend and Soroban contracts calculate each holder’s share and trigger USDC payouts.
  • Payouts and balances are visible on-chain and in both dashboards.

Monorepo Layout

This workspace contains three separate projects, each designed to be used as its own git repository:

  • revora-frontend: React + TypeScript web frontend (startup & investor UI skeleton).
  • revora-backend: Node.js + Express + TypeScript backend API skeleton.
  • revora-contracts: Soroban (Rust) smart contract skeleton for revenue-share logic.

Each subdirectory is initialized as an independent git repository so you can:

  1. Add a remote (e.g. GitHub, GitLab).
  2. Push each project separately.
  3. Manage them as decoupled services.

Next Steps

  • Expand the frontend into distinct dashboards for startups and investors.
  • Flesh out backend services for:
    • Offering creation / listing
    • Investment flows in USDC
    • Revenue reporting and distribution runs
  • Implement and test Soroban contracts for:
    • Revenue-share token issuance
    • Distribution logic and access control
  • Integrate with Stellar testnet for end-to-end flows.
