linux.com is the main source of Linux-related information, maintained by the Linux Foundation.
The Linux Documentation Project, though dated, contains many guides and HOWTOs. Some selections:

Xmodulo features Linux FAQs, hands-on tips and detailed tutorials on Linux software, Linux networking, security, virtualization and cloud computing.
The Linux Professionals Institute hosts Linux administrator certification exams. See here for FDL training manuals.
kernel.org is the host of the Linux kernel's source code.
linuxfoundation.org is the official website for the Linux Foundation and its members.
The GNU Project provides the user-interaction layer (aka the core utilities) on top of the Linux kernel.
The Free Software Foundation promotes the freedom of computer users to use and modify software for any purpose. They provide critical infrastructure and funding for the GNU project.
The Open Source Initiative is a non-profit corporation which, among other things, defines "Open Source" and approves open-source licenses.
