User description

🎯 What: Added comprehensive unit tests for SettingsRepository to ensure that mapping string values from DataStore to AppTheme or ThemeMode enums gracefully handles invalid inputs (falling back to defaults).
📊 Coverage: Covered both appTheme and themeMode flow default values, error fallback logic, and happy path setters.
Result: Increased reliability by providing safety nets against data corruption in application preferences.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 8677529850674179317 started by @SayanthRock

  • Added coverage confirming invalid saved theme values fall back to Rock Obsidian and System mode

✅ Reliable default appearance
✅ Verified theme selection persistence

Nice work! 😎

I didn't find anything of concern

Risk: 🟢 Low

Suggestion: The suite does not verify the missing-key fallback for themeMode, despite covering the corresponding appTheme default. A regression that changes SettingsRepository.themeMode to return a different default would therefore remain undetected. Add a test that reads themeMode from an empty store and asserts ThemeMode.SYSTEM. [incomplete implementation]

Severity Level: Major ⚠️
- ⚠️ Empty preference stores lack direct theme-mode coverage.
- ⚠️ Startup theme behavior could regress undetected.
- ❌ MainActivity could select an incorrect initial theme mode.

Suggestion: The test name claims that the setter emits an update, but collection starts only after setAppTheme completes. first() consequently observes the persisted current value and would pass even if an already-active appTheme collector never received an emission. Start collecting before invoking the setter and assert the subsequent emitted value. [incomplete implementation]

Severity Level: Major ⚠️
- ⚠️ Current test can pass without validating live updates.
- ❌ MainActivity theme changes could remain stale.
- ❌ SettingsViewModel state could miss preference updates.

Enable usage-based reviews in Billing to review now. Otherwise, wait until the next included review is available.
You're only billed for reviews past your plan's rate limits ($0.25/file).

How can I continue?

After more reviews become available, a review can be triggered using the @coderabbitai review command as a PR comment. Alternatively, push new commits to this PR.

To avoid repeated limits, reduce automatic review volume by pausing incremental auto-reviews earlier, using label-based review opt-in, excluding WIP or generated PR titles, or requesting reviews manually when the PR is ready. If your team needs uninterrupted high-volume reviews, an organization admin can enable usage-based reviews.

How do review limits work?

CodeRabbit enforces per-developer PR review limits for each organization. Most developers receive the normal plan review availability.

For paid Pro and Pro+ PR reviews, CodeRabbit uses adaptive limits for sustained high-volume activity. When a developer's recent PR review activity reaches the 95th percentile or higher among CodeRabbit users, additional reviews become available more gradually as earlier reviews age out of the rolling window.
