Changelog

  • v0.32: Fixed armor slot settings value broken after saved mod settings in Dmenu, armor slot settings now all put into an indiviual file "MaxsuPoise_ArmorSlot.ini"

  • v0.34:

    • Reading the actual mass actor value instead of the base mass in race record
    • Fixed stagger mod perk issue when the stagger magic aggressor is the same one as the magic target
    • Fixed the negative stagger damage issue of magic stagger

Introduction

A poise mod that intends to introduce a stagger trigger mechanics that fitting the modern action combat environment.
Features

Once actors was damaged by attacking and the poise damage value this attack caused is over than the thershold to trigger smalleset level of stagger, the actor would be staggered, and it would be staggered continuously as in those modern action game. The poise damage and stagger animation level is base off the mass, scale, armor, weapon, attack animations of both the attacker and victim. There is also mechanics such as staggerProtectTime to prevent infinte staggerlock.

Requirements

Hard Requirements:

If you don't have those mods above in your mod lists when using MaxsuPoise, then you are stupid!

Recommended:

If you don't want to use either of mods above, you should set the "BlockedModel" option of MaxsuPoise to "PercentBlocked".

To Install

  • Make sure you have all the hard requirements mods installed, then simply install the mod files with a mod manager.
  • Should work on SE, AE and maybe VR

To Debugging

  • You can have the poise damage result of the hit target printing out on console screen, as long as you selected an actor in the console menu, then each time the actor was hit, the poise damage result would be output on the console screen.
