Terminate the print line with a carriage return character to overwrite the same line on each progress update, to avoid cluttering the console output. Also display a simple ASCII progress bar for better visualization. Example print: 90% [============================================= ]
Blender can be made to run the addon from the repository directly, to streamline development, but that causes some precompiled .pyc files to be created, which must be excluded from Git.
