In an effort to maintain consistency on the Trello board for the HealthMate application, this document shall outline the best practices for using Trello. This should eliminate any confusion about who is doing what, which tasks are currently in progress, which tasks have been completed, etc. It should also make it easier to track the progress of feature development as well as finding cards for in-progress tasks.
- At the end of each sprint, all cards representing completed tasks for that sprint should be moved to the respective Sprint list. (e.g., cards for Sprint 1 tasks should be moved to the Sprint 1 list)
- Cards should be organized in a list in order of descending importance:
- "Problem" / "Help Needed" / "Peer Review Needed"
- "In Progress"
- "To Do"
- "Completed"
- Labels should be assigned to each and every card on Trello.
- Only one label should be assigned to a card at a time. (with the exception of "Problem" and "Help Needed" together)
- At least one member should be assigned to a card.
- Each card should have a deadline (sprint deadlines are a safe bet).
- Attaching pictures / screenshots of progress, leaving comments, and using checklists are highly encouraged.
