Stoneblock Scanner

Stoneblock Scanner is a platform designed to help users discover and rate crypto projects through community-driven voting and feedback. The platform allows users to nominate new projects, vote on their validity, rate them based on quality, and engage in discussions by commenting on individual projects.

The goal of Stoneblock Scanner is to provide transparency and a trusted space where the community can actively evaluate and support cryptocurrency projects.

Key Features:

  • Project Nomination: Users can nominate new crypto projects by providing essential information like project name, description, social media links, and more.
  • Community Voting: After project creation, the community can upvote or downvote a project. Once a project hits a certain number of upvotes, it becomes community-rated.
  • Project Rating: Once approved by the community, users can give projects a rating from 1 to 5 stars, providing valuable insights to others.
  • Commenting: Engage with other users by commenting on projects. Share your opinions, feedback, and thoughts on the project's potential.
  • Saving Projects: Keep track of your favorite projects by saving them to your profile for quick access.
  • Search & Filter: Find crypto projects easily using the search bar or filter by category or rating. The filter options include:
    • Defi: Decentralized Finance projects.
    • DeveloperTooling: Tools for developers building within the crypto ecosystem.
    • Gaming: Blockchain-based gaming projects.
    • Infrastructure: Projects focused on blockchain infrastructure and scalability.
    • NFT: Non-fungible token projects and platforms.
    • Social: Crypto-focused social networking or community platforms.
    • Other: Projects that don’t fit into the above categories.

How it Works:

  1. Login and Create a Project: Users log in, create a new project by providing essential details, and submit it to the community.
  2. Community Voting: After submission, other users vote on the project’s validity. Once the project receives enough upvotes, it becomes community-rated.
  3. Rating: After a project is community-approved, users can rate it from 1 to 5 stars based on quality and other factors.
  4. Commenting and Engagement: Users can also comment on projects to ask questions, provide feedback, or join discussions.
  5. Save Projects: Keep your favorite projects saved for later, making it easy to track and access the most interesting ones.
  6. Search and Filters: Projects can be searched by name or filtered by category and rating, allowing users to find the most relevant and trending projects.

Tech stack:

  • Backend: Node.js, Express
  • Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS
  • Database: PostgreSQL, Redis
  • Authentication: Session-based authentication
