Describe the feature you have in mind.
Pretty simple: Electrum deals a slight bit of additional magic damage when Caverns and Chasms is installed. (This seems like a feature simple to code, but I may be wrong.)
Does this solve a particular problem?
Since Caverns and Chasms gives improvements to gold that speed up the player's movement, Electrum seems slightly redundant. The argument that Electrum can be used for its higher durability still seems redundant and requires (themetically) an additional counterpart to the silver toolset for its magic damage. This could be fixed by letting Electrum deal magic damage as well, since it has silver in its recipe, and can act as an endgame combination of both with higher durability.
