Summary

  • cherry-pick the Python InputAligner implementation from the humble work onto rolling
  • export the new Python InputAligner module from message_filters
  • add Python parity tests and register them in CMake pytest targets

Notes

  • cherry-picked from humble commit 3eba8f9
  • resolved the only rolling conflict in CMakeLists.txt by keeping rolling's PYTHON_EXECUTABLE style and adding test_input_aligner.py to it
