This repository is a boilerplate website for EHS Girls Who Code's website building competition. This document will contain the process to get started, along with tips and tricks for the competition!

Getting Started

Basic Information

In order to compete, you'll need to create a branch within this repository. We'll go over how to do this live during our meeting on 10/15. Feel free to email ehsgirlswhocode@gmail.com or DM us on Instagram if you have any questions that come up after!

Process

Go to the repository and click Branches!

Click New Branch...

Create a New Branch for yourself/your team!

Enter in your team name!

Find the branch you created and click on it

Open up the branch in your browser

Make sure the name shows up in these two places!

Clone as normal to VSCode/other IDEs OR code directly in GitHub if you don't have an editor set up

Let us know if you have any questions!
