System Requirements

The following page describes the system and software requirements for the database for the visual search model.

In order for the SR Hub Visual Search Module to work, the following stakeholder will need the requirements:

1. Vanilla Ubuntu Linux

2. Python 2.0

       a. Flask: Allows python scripts to render HTML pages

       b. psycopg2: Package allows Python to work with the data from the PostgreSQL database

3. Google Chrome Version 79 or later

There Are a Few Code Changes That Must Done

1. Follow the instructions in the Read Me to set up a database
2. Using the Database username and password created:

       * Update the "uname, use, pawrd" variables in the YOURPATH/cab-srhub-group-10/code/site/Flask/app.py file.

3. Go into the YOURPATH/cab-srhub-group-10/code/site/postgres/DB_setup.sql file

       * Update the two copy commands to have your path in them
