[Dropout](/02-optimization-and-regularization/04-dropout/02-dropout.ipynb) struck me as the most blatant example of this, as they explain "one possible motivation" for dropout coming from animal sexual behavior, despite their prior explanation in the paper of dropout following from a rather logical line of thinking around regularization.
