Hexal adds a lot of niceties and QoL to Hexcasting. The big ones are the Everbook - which lets you define custom patterns that can then be executed like any other (can be used to, for example, condense the raycast mantra into a single pattern) - and Wisps, which execute Hexes themselves without any player input (sort of like spell circles, but you can delay them and stuff).

note: while Hexal and MoreIotas /are/ on Curseforge, their 1.20 builds are not

this is likely something i'll have to give a look through, though it may be a while before we integrate this, since TMK i'm the only one on the dev team that understands Hexcasting in a significant capacity, and i'm trying to experience it without spoilers in my survival play of MCE2.
