WinHDR Utilities

WinHDR Utilities is an open-source suite of tools for managing Windows HDR settings directly from the system tray. Settings include adjusting SDR brightness, toggling HDR modes, boosting maximum brightness, and more coming soon.

Features

  • SDR Brightness Slider – Control SDR brightness directly from the app, just as you would in Settings > System > Display > HDR.
  • HDR Toggle – Enable or disable HDR quickly. (In Development)
  • Boost Max Brightness – Increase the maximum SDR brightness beyond the default.
  • Slider Orientation Control – Customize slider orientation.

Installation

Executable file has not been created for this project for now, but feel free to clone and try it via Visual Studio

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/anson-poon/WinHDR-Utilities.git
  1. Open the solution in Visual Studio 2022.
  2. Build and run the project.
