Overview

Right2 is a React-based recruitment dashboard that helps job seekers leverage their professional networks in their job search. The application provides a smart way to match job postings with your LinkedIn connections, making it easier to identify warm introduction opportunities at companies you're interested in.

How It Works

  5. All data stays on your device for complete privacy

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (v14 or higher)
  • npm or yarn package manager
  • A modern web browser

Fork and Run Locally

  1. Fork the Repository

    • Click the "Fork" button at the top right of this repository
    • Clone your forked repository:
      git clone https://github.com/YOUR_USERNAME/jobstuff.git
      cd jobstuff
  2. Install Dependencies

    npm install
  3. Run the Development Server

    npm start
  4. Build for Production

    npm run build
    • Creates an optimized production build in the build folder

How to Contribute

  1. Fork the repository and create your branch from main:

    git checkout -b feature/your-feature-name
  2. Make your changes:

    • Follow the existing code style and conventions
    • Write clean, readable, and well-documented code
    • Test your changes thoroughly
  3. Commit your changes:

    • Use clear and descriptive commit messages
    • Reference any relevant issues in your commits
  4. Push to your fork:

    git push origin feature/your-feature-name
  5. Open a Pull Request:

    • Provide a clear description of the changes
    • Explain the motivation and context
    • Reference any related issues

Reporting Issues

If you find a bug or have a feature request:

  1. Check if the issue already exists
  2. Create a new issue with a clear title and description
  3. Include steps to reproduce (for bugs)
  4. Add screenshots or examples when helpful

Available Scripts

In the project directory, you can run:

npm start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in your browser.

The page will reload when you make changes.
You may also see any lint errors in the console.

npm test

Launches the test runner in the interactive watch mode.
See the section about running tests for more information.

npm run build

Builds the app for production to the build folder.
It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance.

The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes.
Your app is ready to be deployed!

npm run eject

Note: this is a one-way operation. Once you eject, you can't go back!

If you aren't satisfied with the build tool and configuration choices, you can eject at any time. This command will remove the single build dependency from your project.

Instead, it will copy all the configuration files and the transitive dependencies (webpack, Babel, ESLint, etc) right into your project so you have full control over them. All of the commands except eject will still work, but they will point to the copied scripts so you can tweak them. At this point you're on your own.

You don't have to ever use eject. The curated feature set is suitable for small and middle deployments, and you shouldn't feel obligated to use this feature. However we understand that this tool wouldn't be useful if you couldn't customize it when you are ready for it.
