Build

• Download and install Android Studio
  • Detailed installation instructions can be found here
• Copy the link to this project by clicking the 'Clone or Download' button (on the top-right side of the GitHub repository for this project) and copy the link to the clipboard
• Open Android Studio and click 'File' > 'New' > 'Project from Version Control' > 'Git'
• Paste the link in the 'URL' field, choose a desired directory for the project, and click 'Clone'
• The project will then open, sync, and build (this may take some time)
• Once the project has finished syncing, connect an Android phone that is in developer-mode or install an emulator in Android Studio

  • For instruction on how to install and run apps on an emulator, see how here
• To run the app, click 'Run' > 'Run app' or the green play icon on the top tool-bar
• To build the app after making changes, click 'Build' > 'Make Project' or the green hammer icon on the top tool-bar
