Docket 📋

Chrome extension that surfaces Google Docs agendas inside Google Meet.

What it does

  • Adds an Agenda button to Google Meet (next to Chat and Info)
  • Opens the Google Doc attached to the calendar invite in an embedded panel
  • Full edit-in-place via embedded Google Docs editor
  • Arrow navigation when multiple docs are attached
  • One-click "Create Agenda" if no doc exists — creates a Google Doc and attaches it to the calendar event

Setup (personal/unpacked)

  1. Clone this repo
  2. Create a GCP project with Calendar API and Drive API enabled
  3. Create an OAuth 2.0 Client ID (Chrome Extension type)
  4. Copy your client ID into manifest.json
  5. Go to chrome://extensions, enable Developer Mode, click "Load unpacked", select this folder

Stack

  • Chrome Extension Manifest V3
  • Google Calendar API (read event attachments)
  • Google Drive API (create docs)
  • Embedded Google Docs iframe for editing

Why

Fellow charges $7/user/month. This is free and does the part that matters.
