This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

Create a local .env.local file with the environment variables used by the site:

NEXT_PUBLIC_GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY=your_google_maps_api_key
NEXT_PUBLIC_RECAPTCHA_SITE_KEY=your_recaptcha_enterprise_site_key
RECAPTCHA_PROJECT_ID=your_google_cloud_project_id
RECAPTCHA_API_KEY=your_recaptcha_enterprise_api_key
RESEND_API_KEY=your_resend_api_key
CONTACT_EMAIL=recipient@example.com

CONTACT_EMAIL controls who receives contact form submissions. Use one email address, or a comma-separated list for multiple recipients. Replies to those notification emails go to the guest email address submitted in the form.

Contact form notifications send from Hobson Lodge <info@hobsonlodge.co.nz>, so hobsonlodge.co.nz must be verified in Resend.

The contact form uses reCAPTCHA Enterprise with the contact_form action before sending email. Set RECAPTCHA_MIN_SCORE only if you want to override the default score threshold of 0.5.

The Resend key should stay in .env.local or your deployment provider's secret settings. Do not commit real API keys.

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
