Follow these steps to deploy your website:
Before using git, you need to accept the Xcode license:
sudo xcodebuild -license acceptEnter your admin password when prompted.
cd /Volumes/Data/dips
git initgit add .git commit -m "Initial commit: Personal academic website"git remote add origin https://github.com/bhattner143/dips.gitgit branch -M main
git push -u origin main- Go to your repository on GitHub: https://github.com/bhattner143/dips
- Click on "Settings" in the repository menu
- Scroll down to "Pages" in the left sidebar
- Under "Source", select "main" branch
- Click "Save"
- Your website will be published at: https://bhattner143.github.io/dips/
After making changes to your files:
git add .
git commit -m "Description of your changes"
git pushThe website will automatically update within a few minutes.
