Hi there! CHDL has been really useful to me and I think you've done a great job of developing it. I wanted to contribute this patch because it's very dear to my heart just like CHDL.
In modern applications it's very important that the source code be as small as possible. This is because network throughput is limited and latency increases when more transfers are happening. Although this improvement is somewhat minor, to be honest, it's still a step in the right direction to keep the tubes from getting clogged. After all, the internet isn't a truck. You can't just put things on it. It's a series of tubes.
