Hey 👋

I'm CTO at RVLVR and Indigenous Software, and an Advisor to Affinitiv.

I've been (S)VP, Executive Director, and CTO a few times over; at Holland & Barrett, Dell, Sears Holdings, and Rangespan (now Google). As well (and among other things), I headed the Enterprise Multichannel team at Amazon.com, launched Amazon's Webstore in the UK with partner BT, and was an early leader in the Amazon Kindle team. I was a software developer and consultant for a good long time (with grey hairs to prove it).

I use DMARC reporting for a variety of applications in my work and have a couple related side projects. Viewleaf is a DMARC report analysis and monitoring tool that is free for a limited time, with no history or domain limits. A paid tier will be added later (and, for future sign-ups). I'd love for you to try it; feedback is appreciated. As well, I monitor and explore evidence of spoofing and spam with (email) domains I'm responsible for, at sh4meful.

I'm a caffeine enthusiast, based in Chicago.

Random Bits

  • Indigenous was an AWS Activate member (2015, 2016) and is currently exploring Machine Learning and generative AI opportunities as a member of the Google for Startups Cloud Program (2023+).
  • RVLVR has been recognized by Forrester in their report; Channel Software Tech Stack (2019, 2020, 2021), and by Canalys in their Channels Ecosystem Landscape (2022, 2023, 2025).
  • Check out RVLVR's Blog and RVLVR's Case Studies. Occassionally, they let me write stuff because I'm a cranky bot- and spam-fighter.
