At the time of this writing, neither the WordPress app nor the Jetpack app for Android handle posting Social Notes, a feature of the Jetpack Social plugin for WordPress. I expect this will be rectified shortly. In the meantime...
Tim Berners-Lee and others have called for people to stop acting like a serf tending a garden behind some landowner's wall. That is to say, stop letting all of you content be locked behind a login for Facebook or Twitter or the like. We need a return to the early web and the days when everyone hosted their own websites and owned their own content.
Jetpack Social describes itself as, "Publish once. Share everywhere. Share your WordPress content to multiple social media platforms from one place." The idea is that you host your website (in this case, on WordPress). Using the Jetpack Social plugin you can add the ability to maintain a feed of tweet-sized posts -- again, stored on your own site that you control. Out of the box, Jetpack Social can be configured to add each post to Facebook, Bluesky, Threads, Instagram Business, Tumblr, Mastodon, Linkedin, and Nextdoor. If you add the XPoster WordPress plugin you can have your posts added to X/Twitter as well.
- Authenticate to a single WordPress site.
- Post social notes.
- Save, load, and delete drafts of social notes. (Drafts are stored locally and synced with the WordPress site.)
- Does not support integrating with more than one WordPress site.
- No display or management of published social notes.
I have no plans for future development. That has not stopped me from continuing to add and refine features.

- Please do not submit questions about how to use the app as Issues.
