Manifest Editor

Manifest Editor is the informal name given to this project, but it is also the name given to the component that is by far the most commonly used - the general-purpose, visual IIIF Manifest Editor. Many users (perhaps most) will only ever see this component, because they have no need for further specialist tasks.

It would be annoying to name the outer application (the Shell) something much more general than "Manifest Editor", because most of its users are editing manifests, in the Manifest Editor App - so it makes sense to refer to the running, hosted web application as a Manifest Editor.
