💡 what: cached document.documentelement.scrollheight and window.innerheight in scrollprogress and sectionnav. invalidated and re-cached the properties using a resizeobserver on the root document.
🎯 why: accessing document.documentelement.scrollheight directly in requestanimationframe inside scrollprogress and high-frequency intersectionobserver callbacks in sectionnav causes continuous forced synchronous layouts, degrading scroll performance.
📊 impact: completely eliminates synchronous layout calculations (layout thrashing) triggered directly by scrolling.
🔬 measurement: tested locally to verify scroll progress operates properly. code review passed and .jules/bolt.md journal has been updated with learnings.
