I'm not sure about adding it to the search term options because standardizing the CSV was such an effort and adding another type of id in there may add additional complications; however, it could at least be probably easily added to the table of results the searches generate.
"Bioinformatics suggestion: if your online database is searchable by UniprotID, like P38398, make it also searchable by SwissprotID, like BRCA1_HUMAN. Like most people, I can remember (or guess) BRCA1_HUMAN but not P38398. It drives me nuts to look up UniprotID codes for proteins I know."
