Step 1

Attach the cam track to the mounting bracket using 3 M4x25mm screws. Press the 1/4" nut into the recess for it.

Step 2

Attach the upper body insert to the upper body using an M4x25mm screw.

Step 3

Slide the upper slider onto the upper body, and install the Hillman #6 spring. Drop the bellcrank into place, making sure it's pushing on the spring.

Step 4

Put an M4x25mm screw through the bellcrank, making sure not to overtighten it. The bellcrank and slide assembly should move freely, and spring back freely.

Step 5

Attach the upper body to the cam track using an M4x25mm screw.

Step 6

Attach the tube selector to the tube stand base using an M4x25mm screw, and an M4 lock nut. The assembly should be tight enough to rotate freely without binding, but without too much slop.

Step 7

If using the ball detent, press it into the detent housing. If using the printed plastic detent, skip to next step.

Step 8

Attach the detent to the tube stand base.

Step 9

Thread the 1/4" bolt through the tube stand base and riser, and then attach the tube stand assembly to the cam track using the 1/4" bolt and 1/4" nut.

Step 10

Assemble the case dropper using an M3x50 bolt, inserted from the top down. The screw can be a loose fit, it's mostly just being used as a hinge pin and cannot fall out once assembled.

Step 11

Slide the case dropper into the upper assembly dovetail slot.

Step 12

Snap the collator bowl onto the collator base. This is simply a friction fit, but can be glued together if needed.

Step 13

Assemble the lower slider using an M3x50 screw and Hillman #9 spring. This screw should be adjusted once the feeder is fully assembled and mounted on the press, since it controls how far into the shell plate each casing is pushed. Attach the 624 roller bearing to the slider using an M4x15 screw.

Step 14

Mount the assembled case feeder to the press using 1/4-20 x 3/4" bolts and fender washers. Now the lower slider can be installed with the press ram partially raised, until the hole in the cam track lines up with the slider bearing. The slider nose will need to be adjusted so that it clears the upper insert, and pushes a case into the shell plate smoothly.

Step 15

Insert the lee case feeder tubes into the tube selector, and then slide the collator assembly onto the tubes. The tubes should slide in easily, without needing to force them in. The case feeder is now ready to use. If collating smaller cases such as 9mm or 380 ACP, drop the collator insert into the collator to help orient cases upright.

To remove the slider for hand-feeding cases, simply raise the press ram until the bearing lines up with the cutout in the cam track, and pull the slider out. There is a railed section on the back of the upper body for storing the slider when not in use - simply slide it onto the rail section nose-up.
