- Quizmo rewards are now tied to town locations. In Toad Town, you can get 1 star piece from the start, and 1 more for every 2 star spirits saved. For every other town where he appears in Vanilla, he will give 2 star pieces, available from the start.
- Hidden blocks are only in logic if you are able to see them. This varies depending on the chosen settings. Logic assumes you can pass Kent at the very beginning when starting in Toad Town(by fighting or paying).
- The generator's logic does not account for fighting difficulty and access to coins, so it is possible to get softlocked early on extreme setting combinations, if every battle is unwinnable and no more money can be earned.
- For item locations that can be accessed without Bombette but require her to get out of, like the Boo's Mansion east basement, logic won't require you to go there and use the Homeward Shroom.
- Rewards from Dojo members (if included) are in logic after 0, 1, 3, 4, 5 star spirits, respectively. However, the first battle (Chan) requires a way to flip him to be in logic, so either boots, Goombario or Sushie.
- The item in Merlon's attic, obtained by ground pounding 3 times in his house, does not require you to get the info from Dry Dry Outpost first.
- The Koopa Koot favor asking you to calm down the neighbor Bob-ombs requires having completed Ch.1 to be done.
- New favors are available every time Mario obtains a new star spirit, except for the last spirit obtained.
- Any 3 letters can be given to Parakarry in Mt. Rugged. You also don't actually need to have the letters at that moment, just having obtained them at some point is enough.
- In Mt.Rugged, there is a star piece surrounded by coins near the treasure chest alcove, where you're supposed to use Parakarry to cross a gap. The middle-right coin of that coin ring can easily be reached with Kooper's ability and it's in logic to do so.
- The item from Moustafa is only in logic if the player has access to a lemon, in order to obtain the shop password.
- 4 ruin keys are required in logic to complete Dry Dry Ruins, as logic assumes you need access to the puzzle solution room, even though it can easily be skipped and beaten with 3 keys.
- Bow isn't required to open the gate to Gusty Gulch. The requirement is actually using the Boo's Portrait to meet Bow at the top of the mansion.
- With precise spins, it is possible to complete Tubba's Castle without Bow, but the logic always expects you to use her ability to get past sentinels.
- The spikes in Tubba's Castle can be avoided with Lakilester's ability. You can also skip them with precise speedy spins, but that is not in logic.
- Trampoline boxes in Toy Box don't require the Super Boots, they can be hammered instead.
- Fighting Anti Guy is never required, logic requires the lemon candy to be cooked and given to him. Lemon candy can be cooked with the cookbook, a lemon and flour.
- Logic will always expect you to obtain the Mystery Note before you solve the Green Station box puzzle.
- Entering the whale in Toad Town does not require the Super Boots, the whale can be hammered 3 times instead. Using Bombette's ability also works.
- Lakilester can be used to access the volcano hammer chest instead of Parakarry.
- After giving the Water Stone to Lily, water will only spawn if the player has obtained Sushie, in order to prevent softlocks.
- Talking with the sun is required to trigger the Lakilester fight.
- If the Ch.7 Bridge Visible setting is enabled, a ground-pound can be used to hit the sewer blocks that lead to the Shiver City pipe.
- Bombette's ability can break the ice in Shiver City to gain access to the pond's item.
- The staircase leading to Crystal Palace has been changed so you can remove the star stone after placing it.
- It is possible to deliver the letter to the Shiver City mayor even while he's lying "dead" on the floor.
