  • Configured Poetry as the package manager with pyproject.toml
  • Added pytest, pytest-cov, and pytest-mock as dev dependencies
  • Set up pytest configuration with coverage thresholds and custom markers
  • Created test directory structure with unit/integration separation
  • Added comprehensive conftest.py with reusable fixtures
  • Updated .gitignore with testing-related entries
  • Created validation tests to verify infrastructure setup
