💡 What: Added explicit aria-label attributes to numerous icon-only buttons in site/index.html (e.g., #sidebar-toggle-btn, #share-btn-chrome, #settings-gear-btn, #hamburger-toggle-btn, #lp-sidebar-toggle, #lp-import-btn, #code-fold-btn).

🎯 Why: Without an accessible name, screen readers will either announce the element vaguely as "button" or attempt to read meaningless svg properties. These changes ensure users navigating via screen readers can understand the purpose of each main interface action button.

📸 Before/After:

  • Before: <button class="canvas-chrome-btn" id="sidebar-toggle-btn" title="Toggle sidebar (\)"> <svg>...</svg> </button>
  • After: <button class="canvas-chrome-btn" id="sidebar-toggle-btn" title="Toggle sidebar (\)" aria-label="Toggle sidebar"> <svg>...</svg> </button>

♿ Accessibility: Improves compliance with WCAG success criteria 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value) by explicitly providing text equivalents for icon-driven functionality.
