Hi there! I am a PhD candidate in the Data Mining group of Eindhoven University of Technology. I am broadly interested, and I like to work on a diverse range of topics and with people from all kinds of backgrounds. My recent work focuses primarily on developing generative machine learning models for time-evolving data, and applying these models to various scientific domains.
Hi there! I am a PhD candidate in the Data Mining group of Eindhoven University of Technology. I am broadly interested, and I like to work on a diverse range of topics and with people from all kinds of backgrounds. My recent work focuses primarily on developing generative machine learning models for time-evolving data, and applying these models to various scientific and engineering problems.

Some recent projects that I have been working on include:

- Embedding domain knowledge in generative models for scientific simulation [[1]](https://arxiv.org/abs/2305.14286);
- Developing generative models for simulation applications in varying domains, for example nuclear fusion [[2]](https://arxiv.org/abs/2305.18944) and cell migration [[3]](https://arxiv.org/abs/2210.01123);
- Correlation Detective, an algorithm for scalable multivariate correlations discovery in large time series datasets [[4]](https://dl.acm.org/doi/abs/10.14778/3514061.3514072), [[5]](https://research.tue.nl/files/199809745/Minartz_K.pdf).
- Embedding domain knowledge in generative models for stochastic simulation [[1]](https://arxiv.org/abs/2305.14286), while also leveraging these models to extract new insights [[2]](https://arxiv.org/abs/2412.01491);
