Thank for the PR @JoshuaSmeda. Could you please add an entry to the chart CHANGELOG under the unreleased heading to cover the change you're making?
This PR updates the Helm chart’s
Certificatemanifest to include thecommonNamein thednsNameslist.Currently, cert-manager issues a warning and ACME rejects the CSR because the
commonName(metrics-server) is not present in the SANs list.By ensuring the
commonNameis also included underdnsNames, the certificate request complies with ACME requirements for cert-manager.Fixes #1709
